Aloe Spray for Sunburn or Dry Skin

4 oz Aloe Vera juice
1/2 tsp Vitamin E oil
15 drops Lavender oil

Combine ingredients and pour into spritzer bottle.

Bath for Burns

1 quart boiling water
1/4 cup each Comfrey leaves
Plaintain leaves
Calendula flowers
3 drops Lavender oil
1 cup Oatmeal (finely milled)

Pour boiling water over herbs. Steep for 20 minutes. Strain.
Pour tea into cool bath. Stir in Lavender and Oatmeal. Relax.

After Sun Oil

10 drops Lavender
5 drops Chamomile
1 drop Bergamot
2 drops Geranium

Add to:

2 oz Almond oil
2 tblsp Sesame oil

After Sun Bath

4 drops Chamomile
3 drops Geranium
1 drop Peppermint

Dilute in:

1 tblsp Jojoba oil

Add to a cool bath

Baby Powder

2 parts White Clay
2 parts Arrowroot powder
1/4 part Calendula flowers (powderd)

Mix all ingrediants together well.

Foot Soak

5 drops Tea Tree oil
5 drops Sage oil
2 drops Peppermint oil

Fill a portable basin or tub with hot water.
Add essential oils to water and swirl to disperse.
Soak feet for at least 15 minutes.

Herbal Facial Steam

Dry to Normal Skin

2 parts Chamomile
2 Parts Roses
3 Parts Comfrey
1 Part Lavender
2 Parts Calendula

Mix all the herbs together and store in an airtight container.

To use: Bring 2-3 quarts of water to a boil.
Add a large handful of herbs, cover and steep for five minutes.
Remove pot from heat and remove cover carefully (hot steam can cause sever burns).
Place a towel over your head letting it drape over the sides of the pan.
Gently let your face steam for about 5-8 minutes.
Pat dry with a soft towel.

Note:   Please do not stay over the steam for the entire 5-8 minute period..
In other words, Come Up For air!
